This weekend Sir Francis Scott Key, Kerry, and I went west to Missouri. Kerry had a bowling tournament on Saturday at Farmington Family Fun Center in Farmington, Missouri. He placed 2nd out of 57 bowlers. I was researching the area and found out that the Civil War Battle of Pilot Knobb occurred near Farmington at Fort Davidson. I wish we had more time to visit the fort, but it was about 10:00 p.m. when Kerry finished bowling. On Sunday, Kerry bowled at Imperial Bowl in Imperial, MO., on Sunday and placed 21st out of 70 bowlers. I was looking up activities to do while in Imperial and found the Mastodon State Historic Site in Imperial. It is a museum and part of the Missouri State Park. One of these days, I will go back and visit these interesting places.
